Latest Specification Tasars for North America

George Yioulos will be importing the lastest specification Tasars, effective immediately. These have a modified deck layout, to improve the operation of the Recirculating Ball shroud cars, and many other detail improvements. The performance on the water should be the same as our locally built boats.

This is truly the end of an era. The first production Tasars were manufactured in Quebec, Canada, in 1975, and the Australiain market was originally supplied from Canada. I know I will be sorry to see the end of Tasar production in North America, but at the same time I think it is really good for the class that from now on, new boats sold here will be to the same specification as those in Australia, Britain and Japan. All new Tasars in all countries will now come from the same builder.

George is planning to continue to offer locally made foils.
