Strong North American interest in the Tasar Worlds

As of today, seven teams are planning to go to the Tasar Worlds, at Cape Panwa, Phuket in July, 2007.

   - Patrick and Nancy Cauley
   - Bruce Gage and Indi Finch
   - Kimbal and Rebecca Hall
   - Andy Schmidt and Erin Harkins
   - Richard Spencer and Peter Graham
   - Guy and Marie Wall

If everyone who is currently planning to go is able to be there, this will be the biggest ever Canada/US presence at Worlds outside North America.

With plans to ship seven boats, we will need a 40 foot container, and that means there is room for at least 3 more baots. Patrick Cauley is coordinating shipping, and is very hopeful of finding some support from a sponsor.

If you are thinking about going to Phuket, this would be a great time to , so we can include you in our planning for a container. There is a bulletin board on the website, where you can share your thoughts about sailing in the event.

The entry fee is now available online at the regatta website, and the entry fee (total of $800 AUD, with $300 AUD due by October 31) goes up by $200 AUD after that.
