The 2001 CanAm regattas will be:

SOCKS, Seatte, WA, 
WAVES, Vancouver, BC 
Cowichan Bay, BC
Gorge, Cascade Locks, OR

CanAm series rules

Two CanAm events are held in Canada and two in the US.  To qualify for the CanAm series, you have to sail in any 3 of these 4 regattas. Your score for the series is the sum of your best 3 overall results in these events.  The lowest total wins the series.  There is no provision for breaking ties.

Past winners of this prestigious event include World Champions Jonathan and Libby McKee (1996), Kent Powley and Cathy Sherwood, Sandra Towers & Thilo Giese (tied for first, 1998), Scott and Penny Davis (1999) and Todd and Leslie Blumel (2000).
