The biennial Arafura Games will be held in Darwing from 19 to 26 May, 2001. Sailing is included in the program.

Classes to be raced will include Tasars, Lasers and Laser Radials. The sailing will be conducted in conjunction with the Darwin Sailing Club, and races will he held on Fannie Bay.
