Frank Bethwaite
It was with great sadness that we learnt of Frank Bethwaite’s death in Sydney on May 12th, 2012. Frank was a supremely gifted original thinker and innovator who transformed dinghy sailing, and gave us the Tasar, which has given so much pleasure to so many. Frank was a wonderful friend and mentor, who shared his knowledge and insights on many occasions with Tasar sailors everywhere. He will be sorely missed.
On behalf of the Tasar class in North America, I would like to express our sincere condolences and sympathy to Nel Bethwaite and her family.
